I ordered these cupcakes for my partner who was on holiday in Australia, I had them delivered to the hotel she was staying in Sydney. The delivery, communication and cakes were first rate.
We ordered their beautiful cupcakes for my partner's 93 year old mother's birthday and everyone loved them.
One thing we found amusing and entertaining was watching the real time delivery tracking, so we'd know when to call her. A bonus was that the image was of a car pulling a trailer of cupcakes
I ordered the 7 Inch Simply Pink cake and decorated it myself. It was delicious.
Very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend and use again.
I had it delivered the day before my event and refrigerated it.
The only thing was, I had a family emergency on the day of delivery and wasn't able to speak directly with a person. I found through the link delivery notification I was able to send a message relaying to leave it in my caravan fridge and of my emergency.
The message was not acknowledged.
The delivery driver did call me on arrival. English was not good but I said I sent a message twice to leave in caravan fridge please.
He left in Caravan but not in the fridge. Thankfully I was few hours away and it was not a hot day. 27the Feb 2026

With me not being a resident of Sydney i hadnt much to go on but was really putting this in the hands of the team at cake in the box. Service was spot on and the delivery was timely. An opportunity would be to narrow your delivery windows but if didnt matter for my order. My order however arrived safely and on time for the team. cake arrived on time (all with tracking), as promised, they delivered right to my door even if they had to climb up a flight of stairs to my house on a 33degree day. the cake was moist and was a hit with the kids. if anything, my only other comment is the icing is a bit sweet for my liking, but that is just my personal preference. i was able to decorate with toppers i bought to suit the kuromi theme.

We really liked the colour and it suited us to put our own toppers on the cake. It was well packaged and the main thing was it was nice and moist and all the family enjoyed eating it. Would definitely order again.

I ordered this as a last minute cake for my daughter’s 18th celebration for a small family dinner. I decorated it with supermarket bought cake decorations as she wanted a coquette flower theme. She loved it!! And it was delicious. This is my second cake from cake in a box and I highly recommend them.
